I am part mermaid, part human and all heart! I am a true-blue Cape Codder and the alter ego of the shop owner, Randi O'Meara.
My passion for antiquing goes way back to when I was a small child and traveled around with my mother to yard sales; estate sales or simply stopping on the side of the road to claim an abandoned treasure.
My passion for Cape Cod goes back about 30 years when I started vacationing , every summer, on Cape Cod, primarily in Dennis MA and Harwich, MA , with my husband and children. As soon as we would see the Entering Cape Cod sign on the highway, my daughter would ask "Mama, will we see the mermaids this year?" I would always answer "They are always there, we just have to keep looking."
Fast forward to the present day, and I am living the dream, by combining my passions of antiquing, Cape Cod and mermaids and opening Barnacle Betty's Antique & Art Emporium, Cape Cod's newest destination for antiquing on Cape Cod.
