This encaustic painting by Ellen Anderson, titled "Treasures," is crafted using a unique combination of beeswax, damar resin (tree sap) , and oil paint. Painted in layers, fusing each layer with heat. This technique dates back to the 5th century B.C. Gorgeous little piece!
