Handmade Turquoise Handmade Scallop Shell Server with 6 Scallop Plates. Made by local Cape Cod artists Clay Caulderwood. 

The scallop shell is the traditional emblem of St James the Great and is popular with pilgrims travelling the Way of St James (Camino de Santiago). Medieval Christians would collect a scallop shell while at Compostela as evidence of having made the journey.

Server Measures: 12" long x 11" wide x 2 1/2" deep

Plates measure: 5 1/4" long x 6 1/4" wide x 1 3/4" deep

In excellent condition. All original with no cracks or chips. (unless you put potato chips in them!) Because they are hand made, there are slight differences in all.
